"Among the winners in the new construction category included the Avalon Riverview high rise at 2-01 50th Avenue in Long Island City, which is part of the Queens West Development project. The 32-story building, with 372 apartments, will be linked on the north side to an 80-unit senior assisted living facility, to be developed and run by the New York Foundation for Senior Citizens. It is the first of three apartment buildings to be built by AvalonBay Communities."
